About Abfo

ABFO (Association of Bioscience Financial Officers) was founded in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1988 as a place for executives in finance to exchange information and ideas, form support networks and gather for education and friendship.

Over the last 30+ years, ABFO has grown to regional chapters in areas such as Boston, San Francisco, Seattle, Philadelphia, and Southern California. Our Boston local chapter includes the wider New England area.

We are primarily CFOs, Vice Presidents, Controllers and other finance professionals in leadership positions at life science companies.There are approximately 200 professionals within our regional chapter.
